We start off by talking about our harrowing details of getting to Orlando, the relaxation of Disney’s Magical Express, and a fun lunch at the Wilderness Lodge before heading to Hollywood Studios. The park was extremely crowded, but that is to be expected with only four attractions open. On average, there was a two hour wait for every attraction at the park; the shows and meet and greets didn’t help reduce the noticeable crowd levels.
Even with the crowds, we were able to experience all the fun Christmas time entertainment, including hi-fifing Santa Goofy, watching Jingle Bell Jingle BAM, the Sunset Seasons Greetings and the Flurry of Fun. Each is an experience in itself and not to be missed. The crowds seemed light in the evening when we were experiencing the night time entertainment.
Before we jump into our discussion of Hollywood Studios at Christmas time, we ask the question, “What are we most looking forward to in the next few years at Walt Disney World?” We discuss Star Wars at Galaxy Edge expansion, the Disney YES program and the Ratatouille Attraction at the French Pavilion. It should be an exciting time, watching it all come together for the Fiftieth Anniversary at Walt Disney World.
